SPRING is so close!

Sur le vif
Sur le vif by voguevictim™ featuring Elizabeth and James tops

Items in this set:

I am in love with the pastel colors that are all the rage this spring. Pastel purples, blues, pinks, whites, and so on. There so crisp and fresh, like a breath of fresh air after a winter full of deep dark colors. The jewels on the shirt are georgeous. Dont forget about floral patterns that are also very stylish and trendy this season. Ahhhh! I can tell you right now, I can't wait for the weather here in Chicago to warm up!

Natalia Vodianova

Model of the moment
Born in Russia on February 28, 1982, Natalia got her start in modeling at the tender age of 15. As a teenager she lived a life in poverty; she helped her mother sell fruit on the street to help her family through the tough time. She was so sincere that she later set up her own fruit stand with a friend. She gained her success as a runway and editorial campaign model. Recently, in 2009, she was named one of the most successful and seventh highest paid supermodels in the world. She's walked for over 175 runway shows and has appeared in editorial spreads for fashion magazines around the world. Her body is amazing, I would never believe she's had three kids! Gorgeous

I love my...

SISTERS

Elizabeth, Me, Joareyn, Zenita
Look how much we've grown, yet still the same
They are more than just my sisters, they are my best friends and I am so lucky to have them in my life. They're the people who know everything about me, good and bad, and still except and love me. They love me for me, and would never want me to change. I can tell you right now, I would be absolutley lost without them.
When we're together, I'm telling you it's ridiculous and crazy and sooo much fun. I'm sure people think we're crazy but we dont care and that's what i love about my sisters; we are ourselves, nothing less and nothing more. I can't wait for the next time we can all be together again, I miss them! (well, all except for Zenita because shes my stinky roomie) ;-P

 & BROTHER
Ohh Courwyn, how could I forget you. Without you, the family wouldn't be complete without you, our little pooper. :) I miss you sooo much and absolutely love watching you grow up into such an amazing person. <3

Kate Moss

I DIE for this!
The ever so fabulous, Kate Moss, looked 'to die for' in a 1920's inspired pearl-encrusted Valentino couture sheath, pairing it with sexy animal-print pumps and a tan leather clutch. This is a great example of pairing prints with different colors to create something super fashionable. The animal print adds a great amount of pazazz to the dress, giving it add sexiness. Remember, dont be afraid to mix and match colors and prints, the end result will be worth the risk. I promise.

Closet Diaries

Liquid. Layers.
Today I wore a blue pointelle sweater over a silver/metalic tank top with my fierce black liquid leggings and my knee high, fabulous, suede boots. Being an accessorie girl I wanted to spice up this outfit with a bunch of necklaces. I decided to layer some of my favorite necklaces, you are familiar with them I'm sure. I layered the "have a heart" necklace I got yesterday when I met LC, my absolute favorite "krysta" necklace (that I dont go anywhere without), and the "unlock my heart" necklace I talked about earlier in my blog. Of course because it's cold out, I cant leave the house without a jacket, so I felt my safari inspired jacket would work fabulously with my outfit. Don't you think? :)

Today I...

MET LAUREN CONRAD!
Her second novel of her L.A. Candy Series, Sweet Little Lies, recently came out so she came to DePaul University, in Chicago, for her book tour; She is the cutest little thing, gorgeous! And I loved her dress (I wish I knew where it's from). Along with her book, she was there to promote m.powerment by:mark. A fabulous campaign committed to helping educate and empower women and bring an end to domestic violence.
While we were there my friends and I all purchased a "Have a Heart" Necklace! The necklace is available in silver or gold-I chose gold, of course-and they're, oh so, cute. The best part is: 100% of the proceeds went to supporting this amazing cause; helping to empower those in abusive relationships.  Want to help support, in style, too? You can purchase a necklace, for only $22.00. If you want to make a smaller donation there is also a fabulous bracelet for only $12. You can make your donation through the mark website, or through a mark representative near you. It's as easy as 1.2.3 and don't forget...it could make a great gift as well!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to start reading Sweet Little Lies. While I was going through I rough patch in my life I read her first book, LA Candy, I related with it so much, it helped to know that someone went through the same thing; friendship and betrayal..i absolutely loved it so I'm excited to see what drama the next book unfolds.
Want the books? LA Candy Sweet Little Lies

*And for those of you who noticed my outfit...yes, I am obsessed with my leopard fur coat. Who wouldn't be?! :)

SMILE

This is a sample of things I write about in my column, "Diaries of a College Girl," I usually relate it with an real life experience I've gone through during my college days. Let me know if you want me to post some of the articles on here :) Enjoyy

When things go wrong we suspect and automatically assume its our fault. We start to believe that the world is falling and that the foundation that was built is suddenly broken to little pieces. We give so much energy to the fault, it accumulates anger, sadness, worry, and the feeling of being alone. It gets so big we blame ourselves and don’t realize that everything happens for a reason. Let yourself go, and come to conclusion that you did what you could to make it better, so relax. Curtains have to meet half way to cover the window.
Stop blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong. The energy you put out there is always going to come back. Things happen for a reason. To teach us a valuable lesson, help us grow up, or even to just wake us up from being so arrogant. Things change, people come into your life, and they leave, it’s all apart of life and growing up, so make the best out of every situation, smile and remember that everything will work out in the end.

To all the Fashionistas Out there!

Let the Count Down Begin
MAY 28, 2010!
I'm a HUGE Sex and the City fan, just ask anyone who knows me, so I am beyond excited for this. I mean, what's not to love? The fashion=Amazing. The girls=fabulous. The stories=relatable. The city/NYC= Beyond incredible!  I really hope that the second movie is as good as the first..if anything I know the clothes and fashion wont disappoint. I"M SO READY!!

I CANT WAIT!!

In Theaters March 12
I LOVE love stories! They keep me dreaming, and believeing that I will find it someday...love so perfect and so spontaneous that once you have it you wonder how you ever lived without it.  Love stories remind me that it is possible and that not all guys out there are complete douche bags; that there ARE guys that care and are willing to let go of their pride, just a little bit, to let someone in. Ohhh Robert, you set the bar so high. <3

CLoset Diaries

Comfy Infinity
I know, I know, I didn't take the picture in my closet.  There is a good explanation for this! This morning the lighting in my closet was not lookin so hot so I moved to a new location, which actually worked out quite well. Anyways, I love this outfit; very comfortable yet chic. I wore a simple gray cotton tee with a black belt with silver studs around my waist. This is a great way to dress up a simple tshirt and create a defined waist. I paired the shirt with black leggings (with rhinstone zippers on the side, by the ankles) and ultra fab, black leather, motorcycle boots. When I looked outside and saw snow I couldnt resist grabbing my faux fur leopard coat and layering on one of falls hottests trends, the infinity scarf!

Suprise Suprise

Unlock My Heart Necklace
Forever 21 - $4.80
So I was at work yesterday opening accessorie boxes, and loving it, as usual when I came across a necklace that I immediately fell in love with. A silver metal necklace featuring a charm with a silhouette of a kissing couple holding hands. Accompanying them is a heart charm with the phrase, and my favorite part of the necklace: "He Who Holds The Key Can Unlock My Heart." The heart comes with a matching key that fits perfectly into the key shape cut out of the heart.
I've been really into watching romantic movies with strong, emotional love stories, and I cant help but adore this.  There is so much more behind it than just a pendant on a metal chain and thats what is so special about it! Besides my "Krysta" necklace, this is another one of my favorites.

Closet Diaries

Accessorize!
I love this outfit beacuse it's plain and simple-all black- and then a pop of color with the neon yellow cardigan. What makes the outfit pop even more is the tassel chain link necklace. I love accessories because they can never go out of style. They will stay with you for a whole lifetime; you can never grow out of them like you can clothes. Accesories make an outfit, and in this case thie necklace was it for this outfit!

RPattz 'New'de photoshoot

Here's a look at one of the sexiest guys alives new pictures from a
steamy photoshoot with nude models for "Detail" magazine.

These photos are very racy and I can only imagine how uncomfortable he must have felt while shooting these. He has been reported saying he hates vaginas and is allergic to them. Awh poor Rob, it's okay, I still absolutley adore you. I do love these photos though, they are very chic and what I think American society needs. I think nudity is beautiful and natural. We insist on seeing it as something horrible and un ethical but the truth is, if you look at it in a less serious light you can begin to appreciate it for what it is.
