This weekend one of my best friends, Brittany Highlander, came to visit me from Lexington, Kentucky. She had never seen the full beauty of Chicago beyond Michigan Avenue so we got up, caught an early train to Union Station and spent the whole day walking around, soaking in the busy streets of my home away from New York. We walked to Millenium Park, then walked down Michigan Avenue-stopping at a few shops, of course. Then we walked along the lakefront to Navy Pier where we somehow managed to muster up the courage to go on the Ferris Wheel- it was an awesome experience and had an amazing view of the city from the top. Quite an adrenaline rush! After Navy Peir, and spending $8 on a double scoop ice cream cone (oih!) we made our way to Grant Park to see The Buckingham Fountain, then back to Union Station. Our legs were killing us at the end of the day but it was so much fun, and quite the adventure, being in the city and catching up with an old friend.
So Beautiful.

she's hiding her fear. haha
Terrified of heights!
WE MADE IT!
I'm wearing a Love 21 Romper from Forever 21, with a Forever 21 belt, Daisy Fuentes striped cardigan, black cage sandals from H&M, vinatge over the body purse, vintage sunglasses, and my favorite "Krysta" Necklace. Brittany is wearing some fabulous JLo sunglasses she purchased on Michigan avenue and a super flowy, chic chiffon top (I wish I knew where she got it) and a fuschia Kate Spade purse. <3
I absolutley love your hair in the second to last picture. is it naturally wavy like that? if not how can i get my hiar to be that adorable?
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet! Yes, my hair is naturally curly but unfortunatley I can never get it to dry like that so I use a starightner to define curls around my face and fix the parts that didn't curl right naturally. Let me know how it works for you!
